Meet the Instructor

Youmna T. Farasha

Youmna is a Civil Engineer with a Bachelor’s Degree from Beirut Arab University, Lebanon and a Master’s Degree from the University of Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom. She has always been interested in Turkey, its culture, history and language, which is why she decided to learn the Turkish Language at Yunus Emre Turkish Cultural Center, a worldwide non-profit organization created by the Turkish government, in Beirut in 2014. She also had the chance to join their Summer School in Sakarya in 2015. She, then, decided to share her passion about this beautiful language after reaching advanced levels. She started tutoring the Turkish Language for the first time in July 2019. She had tutored plenty of Turkish classes, serving 160+ students in addition to some private tutoring. She is also serving ex-students to keep on practicing what they learned all together as a big family in a special WhatsApp group, called “Sohbet edelim” which means “Let’s Chat” in Turkish.

Looking forward to have you with us in future sessions and to expand our lovely family group!
